Pustertaler Sprinzen

The Pustertaler Sprinzen is a distinctive cattle breed originating from the Puster Valley region in South Tyrol, which is now divided between northern Italy and southern Austria. This breed is characterized by its striking coloration, often featuring a unique speckled pattern with predominantly white coats adorned with large, irregular black or red patches, particularly along the head, neck, and sides. Renowned for their adaptability to mountainous terrains, these cattle are well-suited to the alpine environments where they traditionally graze.
