No, he was a stray that the animal rescue league in Des Moines captured. I now have Jasper, plus to females Cordilia and Lavinia. Lavinia hatched out 2 chicks Mid august. They seem to be doing well so far. I keep them in a netted aviary. That has helped keep them safe.
