Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Set up your experiences, schedule, and animal profiles without entering a card. Fees only exist on real bookings.
What does it cost to run my petting zoo on Creatures?
Nothing. Listing is free, there is no monthly bill, and you keep 100% of the price you set. Guests add a small 5% service fee (minimum $1.50) to their booking, the same way ticketing platforms work. Creatures Pro members can remove even that: their guests pay exactly the listed price, and only standard card processing comes out of the payout.
Can I take deposits instead of full payment?
Yes. Each experience can require no deposit, a partial deposit, or full payment up front, with the balance due at the visit. Your cancellation window decides when refunds happen automatically.
What kinds of businesses use this?
Farm tours, petting zoos, alpaca and camel encounters, barn visits, homestead workshops, mobile petting zoos and party animals. If people come to meet your animals, Creatures can take the bookings.
I run a mobile petting zoo. Can people book me to come to them?
Yes. Set your base town as the location, choose "State or region only" for what the public sees, and add a booking question asking for the party address. Guests pick a time and pay online. The address they enter comes to you with the booking as their answer; the experience itself keeps your base town as its venue, so plan travel from the answer.
