Mini Lop
Mini Lop can mean different rabbits depending on country, but in United States usage it usually refers to the ARBA Mini Lop, a compact medium-small lop that is larger than the Holland Lop. It has a strong body, broad head, full crown, and lopped ears of moderate length. In British conversation, Mini Lop is often used for the much smaller Miniature Lop, so the same words can point to different registry animals.
Good identification starts with size and registry context. A United States Mini Lop should not be judged as a Holland Lop simply because both have compact heads and dropped ears, and a British Mini Lop listing may map closer to American Holland Lop expectations. Breeders watch crown, shoulder width, depth, bone, and solid or broken color groups. Companion homes should provide more space than the word mini implies, plus routine ear checks and a diet that keeps the rabbit muscular rather than round and heavy.
