Basenji

The Basenji, often referred to as the "barkless dog," is a unique and intelligent breed renowned for its quiet demeanor and distinctive vocalizations, which resemble yodeling more than typical barking. Originating from Central Africa and often associated with the Congo Basin, these dogs were traditionally used by local tribes for hunting, prized for their keen eyesight and speed.
