Fire
Gene
A fire ball python is an incomplete dominant morph that brightens body color, cleans up dark pigment, and adds a lighter, more polished look to many combinations. Single-gene fires can be subtle, with softened blacks, warm golds, and a brighter belly or side pattern. When two compatible fire genes are inherited together, the result may be a super fire, a black-eyed leucistic animal that is white to cream with dark eyes.
Fire ball pythons are kept like any other ball python, but the gene is often chosen for breeding projects rather than dramatic single-gene appearance. Breeders use fire to brighten pastel, clown, pied, vanilla, or dark-gene combinations, and records matter because fire-complex animals can resemble other lightening traits. Buyers should ask whether the snake is single-gene fire, super fire, or part of a combination. A pet owner can judge the animal mainly by health, feeding, and temperament.
