Moonglow
A moonglow boa constrictor is a multi-gene morph usually built from albino, anery, and hypo traits. In simple terms, it is a hypo snow boa, combining reduced dark pigment, reduced red pigment, and albino expression into a pale animal with soft cream, white, lavender, peach, or yellow tones. The exact appearance depends on the albino line, anery line, hypo influence, and any additional genes added to the project.
Moonglow boas require standard boa constrictor care, not special care because of their color. Their pale skin can make stuck shed, scale damage, or mild dehydration easier to notice, which is useful but does not replace good husbandry. Breeding moonglows demands careful record keeping because several inherited traits must align. Buyers should ask whether the animal is Kahl-line, Sharp-line, or otherwise documented, since that affects future pairings and avoids confusion with snow, sunglow, or ghost combinations.
