Arabesque

The arabesque boa constrictor is a pattern morph with thin intricate saddles, broken side markings, and a flowing chainlike look compared with the broader blocks of a normal boa. Color varies with the animal's base line and any additional morphs, so arabesque boas may be tan and brown, hypo, albino, or part of more complex combinations. In boa breeding, arabesque is treated as a heritable pattern trait, but expression differs noticeably from one animal to another.

Care is the same as for other boa constrictors of similar ancestry and size. The enclosure must hold heat safely, resist escapes, and allow the snake to hide securely while still offering room for movement. Pattern morphs can be hard to identify from photos alone, especially when combined with jungle, motley, or other aberrant traits, so breeders and buyers should ask for pairing information and clear shed-to-adult photos when available. For pet homes, temperament, feeding reliability, and adult size matter more than how dramatic the pattern appears as a neonate.
