Cinnamon
A cinnamon ball python is an incomplete dominant morph that darkens the background color, gives the pattern a warm brown or reddish cast, and often reduces the contrast of alien heads and side markings. It is a common building-block gene in darker projects and can change dramatically when paired with pastel, banana, pied, clown, or other pattern genes. The super cinnamon form is much darker and may appear nearly solid in some animals.
As a keeper animal, cinnamon follows ordinary ball python care, with no color-specific housing needs. Breeding decisions require more attention. Some super cinnamon and dark-gene combinations have been associated with physical defects, so pairings should be planned with line history and welfare in mind. Buyers should ask whether a snake is single-gene cinnamon or a combination, since cinnamon can hide inside darker projects and may influence both appearance and future breeding outcomes.
