Ridgetop Rabbits

Ridgetop Rabbits is raising chinchilla rabbits just outside Kansas City, Missouri, in the Midwest. Allie Shobe has been breeding these gentle rabbits since 2010 with membership in the American Rabbit Breeders Association and routine health testing at each stage of development.

The rabbits live in spacious hutches shaded by oak trees, and kits are handled daily to encourage calm personalities. Shobe follows a natural diet plan and consults with a veterinarian experienced in small mammals. Many families note the rabbits’ friendly temperament and robust health.

Several of her chinchilla rabbits have earned ribbons at regional shows, showcasing their dense and silvery coats that reflect careful selection over multiple generations. Shobe offers ongoing guidance to new owners and shares detailed care notes, ensuring each rabbit settles smoothly into its new home. Local 4-H members often visit the farm for hands-on workshops that introduce young people to responsible rabbit care.
