Fire & Ice Icelandic Horses

Nikkisue has spent a lifetime with horses, starting as a youth in 4-H and going on to show in both English and Western disciplines, as well as rehabbing horses that had been mistreated. Alicia is a professional trainer and active competitor who has shown Icelandic horses throughout the United States and internationally, including in Holland, Sweden, and Iceland itself.

The farm's name carries personal significance: it honors Alicia's first Icelandic horse, Funi — the Icelandic word for "fire" — while nodding to Iceland's identity as the land of fire and ice. Their approach centers on building relationships between horse and rider, working with each animal and client individually based on the understanding that both learn differently.
