Álfadans Equestrian Arts raises Icelandic horses in Newberg, Oregon, situated in the Willamette Valley wine country about 25 miles southwest of Portland. The program is run by Caeli Cavanagh and Alexandra Venable, two trainers with deep roots in the Icelandic horse world who together bring competition credentials, horsemanship education, and a strong focus on matching the right horse to the right rider.

Alexandra has been working with Icelandic horses since 2000, earning national ranking titles in T4 loose rein tolt competition in both 2015 and 2016, and taking the highest national ranking in Group Open Four Gait in 2022. She has also pursued Working Equitation, finishing as the highest-ranked Level 2 rider in the Pacific region and third nationally in 2022, showcasing the breed's versatility in dressage and obstacle disciplines. Caeli, a FEIF Trainer Level 3 and member of the FEIF Trainers Association, has performed with the Knights of Iceland on their North American Apassionata tour and is recognized internationally for her liberty training work, including training the International Liberty Horse Association's 2020 High Point Pro Division horse.

The farm's approach to placing Icelandic horses for sale in Oregon centers on individualized training that addresses both the mental and physical balance of each horse, with an eye toward competition, trail, and pleasure homes alike. The pair also maintain connections throughout Iceland and Europe for buyers whose ideal horse isn't currently on the farm. Alongside sales, Álfadans hosts a riding school, clinics, and horsemanship camps for youth and adult riders at their Newberg facility, making the farm a hub for the Pacific Northwest Icelandic horse community.
