Romanian Blue-Barred White-Tail
Romanian blue-barred white-tail is a Romanian color or marking variety defined by blue barred plumage combined with a contrasting white tail. The name is unusually descriptive, which helps: it points to wing-bar pattern and tail color rather than to a separate flying class. Depending on the standard, the bird may sit within a larger Romanian breed family where body type and head character also matter.
Breeding this variety is mostly about precision. The blue ground color, bars, and tail should look intentional and stable, with clean edges and no careless leakage into surrounding feathers. Keepers need dry housing and bathing access because white tails stain easily and worn tail feathers weaken the effect. Pairing records help breeders separate reliable white-tail inheritance from birds that happen to look close for only one generation.
