Eclipse
Eclipse is a recessive leopard gecko morph centered on eye expression, which may produce solid black eyes, snake eyes, or other reduced-iris appearances. It can also be associated with white markings on the nose or tail in some combinations, but the eye trait is the defining feature. Eclipse is a key ingredient in named projects such as RAPTOR, Radar, Typhoon, and Diablo Blanco, where albino lines and other traits change the final look.
Care is not fundamentally different for Eclipse leopard geckos, although keepers should check that eye structure, feeding accuracy, and navigation are normal. Breeding requires attention because Eclipse can be hidden in carriers and can change the meaning of other morph names when combined with albino lines. Clear photos of both eyes, parent information, and honest genetic records are especially useful when selling or selecting breeding animals. For pet keepers, a steady feeder with healthy eyes is more important than chasing a particular eye split.
