Aptor
APTOR is a leopard gecko morph name usually expanded as Albino Patternless Tangerine Orange, most often associated with Tremper-line projects. It describes a gecko bred for reduced patterning, albino coloration, and strong orange or tangerine influence, rather than a single simple color trait. APTOR is closely related in breeder language to RAPTOR, but RAPTOR also involves the Eclipse eye trait.
Keepers should evaluate an APTOR leopard gecko by health, body condition, feeding response, and clarity of its breeding history, not just brightness. Housing and feeding are standard for leopard geckos, though albino animals may appreciate lower glare. Breeders need to know whether Eclipse, Tremper albino, and patternless stripe ancestry are actually present, because casual use of the acronym can make offspring expectations unreliable.
