Snow

Snow is one of the classic corn snake morphs, produced by combining amelanistic and anerythristic traits. It removes black pigment and red pigment expression in a way that leaves a pale snake, often white, cream, pink, peach, or light yellow as it matures. Hatchlings can look lightly patterned, while adults may develop warmer tones depending on line and selective breeding.

Snow corn snakes are popular because the pale look is easy to recognize while the care remains normal for the species. They still require secure housing, a proper heat gradient, hides, and appropriately sized thawed rodents. Breeders should distinguish snow from related combinations such as blizzard, ghost, opal, or coral snow, since similar pale animals may carry different genes. Records of parents, hets, and line names help keep the morph useful for buyers and future breeding plans.
