Rainbow, also sold as Rainbow Albino, is a recessive ball python gene that reduces dark pigment and gives a clean, light look. A snake needs two copies to show it. Bred to a normal, every baby is a het that looks normal.
Ball pythons show Rainbow only with two copies. One copy makes a het, which looks normal but can pass Rainbow on.
Example: het × het gives about 1 in 4 Rainbow per egg (1/4).
