Mystic is a captive co-dominant morph label in Python regius, part of the BEL complex alongside Mojave, Lesser and Butter. Keepers describe it as a dark, purple-gray snake with reduced pattern. Confirm genetics from pairing records, since complex morphs can be hard to tell apart by appearance, and the label does not guarantee an individual's appearance or health.
One copy shows Mystic. Two copies make a Super Mystic.
Many breeders treat Mystic and Phantom as two lines of one gene, with near-identical supers; no test pairing has proven it.
