Chocolate is a ball python gene that deepens the color and gives the alien heads a keyhole shape. It is incomplete dominant: one copy shows, and two copies make a Super Chocolate. It is in the Spider complex, at the same locus as Spider.
One copy shows Chocolate. Two copies make a Super Chocolate.
Several Chocolate lines exist, and whether they are all the same gene is unproven.
Example: Chocolate × Normal gives about 1 in 2 Chocolate per egg (1/2).
