Raganrat Rat Terriers breeds rat terriers and American hairless terriers in Greenback, Tennessee, near the Great Smoky Mountains and about 30 minutes south of Knoxville. Darice Ragan runs a deliberately small program, keeping only a select number of dogs rather than maintaining a large kennel — a philosophy centered on careful, methodical breeding over volume.

Puppies are born inside the home and receive daily human interaction from the start, with Darice's family actively involved in whelping and daily care.
