Lucas Coblentz

Lucas Coblentz, Percheron breeder in Durand, WI, is located in Pepin County and the Chippewa Valley near Eau Claire. The farm has been raising Percheron horses for more than ten years, holds membership in the Percheron Horse Association, and ensures each animal receives routine health screenings. Mares and foals graze together in pasture-based paddocks, have sheltered run-in sheds for all seasons, and begin gentle halter training at an early age. Stock is bred for both draft work and competitive show ring performance with a focus on sound structure and steady temperament.

Foals stay with their dams until weaning and benefit from daily turnout and consistent handling by experienced staff. Visits are available by appointment to tour the farm, view the pastures and meet horses in a quiet country setting near the family homestead. The farm also hosts annual draft horse demonstrations on the grounds.
