Skye

Skye is a calm, steady highland heifer who brings quiet confidence to the pasture. She’s easy to work around and has a gentle nature. While she isn’t particularly interested in being touched, she’s happy to stay close and always keeps an eye out for a bucket of treats.

She is likely bred to our AHCA-registered bull, Konrad, though this has not yet been confirmed. Skye has great hair with the classic highland look and disposition, along with a solid, balanced frame that would make her a valuable addition to any small herd.

At Highlands Rest, we raise highland cattle and miniature donkeys in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Our focus is on gentle temperaments, good health, and preserving the natural beauty of these heritage breeds. Skye is a wonderful example of that mission in action.
