Little Wolf Farm

Little Wolf Farm is a breeder of traditional Galloway, white Galloway and belted Galloway cattle in the Niagara region of Ontario near Toronto. Diane Lafave has raised Galloway cattle for more than fifteen years, holds memberships in Canadian livestock associations and conducts annual health screenings to ensure herd wellness. The farm’s family roots in cattle breeding date back two generations, emphasizing sustainable land use and community education.

Animals graze on rotating pastures and live in shelters designed to provide protection from harsh weather while encouraging natural social behavior. Daily gentle handling and a low-stress approach help the cattle develop calm temperaments and adapt smoothly to new environments. Calves receive targeted colostrum management and early pasture exposure, which contributes to sturdy growth and balanced dispositions.

Local farmers appreciate the herd’s reliable health and consistent temperament across seasons. Periodic pasture soil tests and rotational grazing plans support the land’s long-term productivity.
