Karen Oldham

Karen Oldham and Kenneth Oldham, Percheron horses, Jonesboro, Arkansas, serve the northeast Arkansas region near Memphis. They maintain a reputation for thoughtful breeding under the standards of the Percheron Horse Association of America and have been active at regional draft horse shows for more than fifteen years.

Their mares and stallions are raised on a rotating pasture system with daily grooming, early handling and low-stress methods. Both breeders hold backgrounds in animal science and partner with a local farrier for quarterly hoof care and with a veterinarian for biannual health checks. Foals grow up alongside the family’s farm dogs and cats, fostering calm socialization before the yearling stage.
