Glen Ray Miller

Glen Ray Miller, Percheron horse breeder, Middlebury, IN, serves Elkhart County and the Michiana region near South Bend. He has worked with Percheron stock for over two decades as a registered member of the American Percheron Horse Association on a family farm established three generations ago.

All foals are part of a routine health-testing program that includes veterinary checkups, vaccinations and hoof care. The breeding stock lives on rotating pasture with daily stall access for shelter and exercise, and foals are allowed gentle turnout to build muscle strength. Daily handling starts at birth to promote calm temperaments, and young horses spend time alongside adult mares to learn herd behavior.

The farm combines traditional draft horse training with light farm work, reflecting a commitment to preserving working-horse heritage.
