Creekside Farmstead

Creekside Farmstead, mini alpine goats, Corvallis, MT, is in the Bitterroot Valley near Missoula. It has been managed by Fred and Janae Lamb with a focus on sound conformation and gentle temperament.

The Lambs follow established health testing protocols and keep detailed records of vaccinations, parasite control, hoof trimming and nutritional evaluations. Their goats enjoy turnout on hillside pastures under seasonal rotational grazing and sheltered barns that encourage daily handling and socialization. This family-run farm combines traditional husbandry with a rotating grazing plan to support herd vitality.

Visitors comment on the friendly nature of each animal and the clear care reflected in their well-maintained coats and calm behavior. Breeding stock is selected for longevity, balanced milk production and strong udder structure suited to small-scale homesteads. Kids are raised indoors for the first weeks and gradually introduced to family routines, barn chores and children’s play, making them well-prepared for diverse farm settings.
