Dixie Dairy

Dixie Dairy is a small-scale breeder of mini Nubian, mini LaMancha, mini Alpine and Nigerian dwarf goats in Coldwater, MS, in Tate County and the Mississippi Delta near Memphis. It has been raising dairy goats for several years with a focus on breed standards and routine health testing through national registries.

Its herd enjoys enriched pasture rotations and daily interaction to encourage gentle temperaments. Does and kids are raised under shelter appropriate for local weather, and kids begin socialization from an early age alongside family pets. Health checks and genetic screenings are part of its routine to support longevity and breed quality.

Monthly milk testing tracks butterfat and protein levels for consistency in artisan cheese projects, and the farm brings stock to regional fairs during the summer.
