BNH Livestock
BNH Livestock, operated by Brad and Nicole Hollman in Red Deer County, Alberta, raises registered Gelbvieh cattle in the heart of central Alberta, roughly an hour north of Red Deer city. The operation is a member of the Canadian Gelbvieh Association and participates in the broader gelbvieh cattle community across Alberta and British Columbia.
The Hollmans sell yearling and long yearling bulls through their annual Gelbvieh Advantage Bull Sale, a consignment event that draws buyers from across the region. Bulls are made available for on-farm viewing prior to the sale, giving prospective buyers the chance to evaluate animals in person before bidding. BNH Livestock also consigns females to regional gelbvieh sales and has contributed herd sire genetics used by other Alberta cattle programs.
Alongside the cattle operation, the farm raises Nubian and LaMancha dairy goats, with sourced genetics from herds across Canada and the United States, and also keeps Kunekune pigs.
