Orange is the hobby name for a corn snake with two copies of Amelanistic and at least one copy of Buf. Amelanistic is recessive, while Buf is dominant and can show with one copy. Bred to a normal-looking snake carrying neither component gene, a one-copy Buf Orange can produce normal-looking or Buf offspring that all carry Amelanistic.
