William Yoder

William Yoder, Percheron horses, Hazleton, IA, is based in Tama County in eastern Iowa near Cedar Rapids. He has been breeding Percheron horses for over 12 years with registered bloodlines and annual health assessments for every foal. As a member of the American Percheron Horse Association, he follows strict guidelines on conformation and temperament.

Each horse is raised in roomy pastures and handled daily to foster calm interaction with people and other animals. Family involvement at all stages ensures each foal receives personal attention from birth onward, with gradual exposure to harness and wagon wheels. The century-old farm buildings have been updated for proper ventilation and stall flooring that supports hoof health.
