Wheatcrest Farms raises Limousin cattle south of Lomond, Alberta, in the heart of southern Alberta's ranching country, roughly an hour northeast of Lethbridge. Hannah Logan carries forward a multi-generational operation whose agricultural roots in the Lomond district stretch back to a homestead filed in 1907.

The farm's connection to Limousin cattle began in 1971, when the founding generation imported their first Limousin cow and began building a herd they bred, showed, and sold with considerable reach across Canada. That early commitment to fullblood Limousin genetics has carried forward, and the Wheatcrest name continues to be attached to fullblood animals in the breed registry today.

Now in its sixth generation, Wheatcrest is a fully family-run operation that pairs its Limousin cattle program with pedigreed seed production and additional livestock.
