Wally Wines

Wally Wines and Nicole Wines are Percheron breeders in Pray, MT, located in Park County and the Gallatin Valley near Bozeman. They have been raising draft horses for more than a decade with membership in the American Percheron Horse Association and routine health screenings including regular farrier visits and annual veterinarian exams.

Their horses live in open pastures with ad libitum hay and gentle turnouts to encourage natural movement and social bonding. From early handling to ground-driving sessions, each foal receives consistent interaction to build confidence and manners. On this family-run ranch that dates back three generations, they focus on producing gentle carriage and trail prospects noted for their calm temperament.

Several of their Percherons have earned ribbons in local draft horse competitions and participate in community parades and therapeutic riding programs. Feeding plans are tailored to individual workload and age, with all horses receiving biannual dental checks and seasonal deworming overseen by a licensed veterinarian.
