Walker Herefords

Walker Herefords has been raising registered Hereford cattle in Stamford, Texas since 1947, when founder Don Walker started the herd as a 4-H project in Jones County, west of Abilene. What began as a small operation of 20 to 25 registered cows on cotton country land has grown into a multi-generational program that has carried the Walker name for more than seven decades.

The operation is a member of the Texas Hereford Association, reflecting a long-standing commitment to the registered Hereford breed. Callie Zoeller continues the program today, maintaining the tradition of purpose-bred Hereford cattle for sale in the rolling ranch country of west-central Texas.
