Vaughn Farms Limousin

Vaughn Farms Limousin has been raising registered Limousin cattle in Cavalier, North Dakota since purchasing its first Limousin bull in 1978. Tom Vaughn and his family gradually built the operation from crossbred cows into a herd of 200 registered purebred cows, establishing one of the more established Limousin programs in the northern Plains region, not far from the Red River Valley and the Grand Forks area.

The farm has been a member of the North American Limousin Foundation since 1983, and Tom was elected to the NALF board of directors in 2008. Vaughn Farms is also a member of the North Dakota Stockmen's Association and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. All cattle are sold with the North American Limousin Foundation guarantee, and performance and ultrasound data are made available on bulls.
