Up-Draft

Up-Draft, Percheron horses, Saint Paris, OH is located in Champaign County and west-central Ohio near Dayton. The farm has worked with draft horses for more than a decade and maintains registration with the American Percheron Horse Association.

Its breeding stock undergoes routine veterinary evaluations, genetic screening for known conditions and balanced nutrition plans. Foals are raised in open pastures with regular handling to encourage calm dispositions and strength. The property includes both paddocks and roomy stalls so each horse can adapt to varied conditions. Every horse has access to fresh water year-round and seasonal turnout to support natural movement. Donald E. Fielder opened Up-Draft after learning from multi-generation equine farmers, building on a tradition of straightforward, hands-on care. Several young horses from the last foaling season have placed in regional halter classes, reflecting a steady focus on type and soundness.
