Tradition Farms

Tradition Farms raises Katahdin sheep in Angleton, TX, Brazoria County and the Gulf Coast near Houston. It is run by Sherry Clark and Benny Clark and has been registered with the National Katahdin Association for over a decade. All breeding stock undergoes routine health screenings such as fecal parasite checks and hoof inspections.

Lambs are born in open pastures where they learn to forage early and receive daily attention to encourage gentle temperament. Adults graze rotationally on coastal grasses and have access to sheltered barns during unpredictable Gulf Coast weather. Several of its sheep have placed in regional ag fairs, reflecting a focus on both hardy genetics and calm handling.

The Clarks follow sustainable practices to maintain soil health and promote biodiversity across their five-acre pasture system. Feedback from local farmers highlights consistent lambing rates and approachable care, emphasizing the farm’s steady reliability.
