Tracy Coates

Tracy Coates is a Percheron breeder in Damascus, PA, Wayne County and the Pocono Mountains near Scranton. She has more than a decade of experience breeding Percheron horses, adhering to health and registry standards set by national draft horse associations.

Her breeding stock undergo regular veterinary soundness checks, and foals are raised with daily pasture turnout, gradual handling sessions and early socialization. Living facilities include spacious barns, turnout paddocks, covered riding areas and rolling pastures. Mares foal in individual stalls with comfortable bedding, and foals are introduced to basic halter training before weaning. The farm’s relaxed routine supports calm temperaments in both adults and youngsters.

Several of her foals have gone on to successful performance in driving demonstrations and farm work, reflecting sturdy conformation and willing dispositions. Her program values developing partnerships between horse and handler from an early age.
