The program got its start in 2017, with health and temperament serving as the foundation from the beginning. Every breeding dog goes through genetic testing along with evaluations for hips, eyes, heart, and patellas before being considered for breeding. The dogs also appear in AKC conformation shows, which the program uses as a measure of the quality it works toward in each generation.

The dogs live in the home on 6 acres of country property, sharing the grounds with a small collection of other animals. With three children in the household, puppies grow up with consistent handling and plenty of everyday activity around them.
