Ap Ranch Mini Aussies

AP Ranch Mini Aussies has been breeding miniature American shepherds and dachshunds in Fallbrook, California since 1993. Run by Pauline Troxell-Stannard, the program is set on a 23-acre ranch in north San Diego County, roughly an hour north of downtown San Diego.

Both breeds are raised together on the property, where Pauline emphasizes socialization as a core part of how the dogs are raised. All breeding dogs are genetically tested for known breed-specific defects. The dachshund side of the program includes multiple coat types — long-haired, short-haired, and dapple varieties — with at least one AKC champion represented in the dogs.
