Standing Rock

Standing Rock is a giant schnauzer and miniature schnauzer breeder in Sheldon, IA, in northwest Iowa near Sioux City. It follows breed club guidelines and conducts comprehensive health testing on hips, eyes and hearts for every breeding dog. All adult dogs receive annual veterinary evaluations and live on a working farm that meets industry standards.

Each litter grows up in a family-centered setting, with daily socialization by children and regular interaction with other animals. Puppies have access to indoor shelter and fenced pastures, and they are introduced to basic obedience in a calm environment. Many have gone on to earn ribbons in regional events and find roles as therapy companions.
