Classic Giant Schnauzers of Easentaigh has been breeding giant schnauzers on the Bluffs of Baraboo, Wisconsin, about an hour north of Madison, for over 28 years. The kennel name Easentaigh is a Gaelic phrase meaning "Falls House," a nod to owner Mary E. Falls, who has bred and shown the breed under that name throughout her career as an AKC Breeder of Merit.

The program draws its bloodlines from accomplished European working and show dogs, with lineages tracing back to kennels in Holland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Finland, South Africa, and Spain. Mary started in the breed in 1991 with a working-line import and has built the Easentaigh line with an emphasis on sound temperament, athletic ability, genetic diversity, and structural integrity.

Giant schnauzer puppies from this Wisconsin program have gone on to compete across a wide range of AKC events, including obedience, agility, tracking, herding, conformation, dock diving, barn hunt, rally, and scent work. Dogs from this kennel have also been placed in working roles such as search and rescue, cadaver detection, and law enforcement K-9 work. Mary places particular weight on educating prospective owners about the demands of owning a working dog, screening for households experienced with active, trainable breeds, and maintaining lifelong connections with the owners of her dogs.
