Bryan Resh / Lollipop R Poodles
Lollipop R Poodles breeds standard poodles in Copperas Cove, Texas, a Central Texas community about 60 miles northwest of Austin near Fort Cavazos. Bryan Resh, an Army veteran, founded the program with a focus on breeding standard poodles for quality and temperament.
Health testing is a cornerstone of the program, with both OFA hip evaluations and genetic health screenings completed on all parent dogs before breeding. Puppies are enrolled in the Puppy Culture training protocol from birth, with extensive early handling built into the raising process. Those headed to hunting or retrieving homes receive specialized introductory work suited to those roles. All puppies also receive Volhard aptitude testing before placement and are registered with AKC, with UKC registration available as well. Bryan draws on a background with horses and show cattle, applying that experience with animals directly to the socialization and early development of each litter.
In addition to standard poodles, the program also works with giant schnauzers, making Lollipop R a source for two large working breeds in the Central Texas region. Families looking for standard poodle puppies in Texas or giant schnauzer puppies in Texas from a health-tested, veteran-owned program will find a structured and hands-on approach here.
