Split Limb Ranch

Split Limb Ranch, beefalo, Raymondville, MO, is a family-owned ranch located in the Missouri Bootheel near Poplar Bluff. Andrew Dietsch and Kelly Dietsch have been raising beefalo for over a decade and hold memberships in national beefalo associations. All breeding stock undergo brucellosis and bovine viral diarrhea testing through state labs and university partnerships to meet association guidelines.

Their breeding program emphasizes genetic diversity, routine health screenings, and temperament testing to support herd vitality. Calves are raised in pasture-based settings and are handled gently from birth to encourage calm temperaments. The ranch’s mixed-grass pastures and seasonal rotational grazing help maintain soil health and animal well-being.

The ranch occupies land in the Dietsch family for three generations. Split Limb Ranch has several animals with documented lineage records and a modest show history at local fairs, reflecting the couple’s focus on sustainable livestock farming.
