Robert E. Clark raises Percheron in Dresser, WI, St. Croix County near St. Paul. He has been involved with Percheron breeding for more than fifteen years and adheres to the national Percheron association’s health and registration guidelines.

His herd enjoys spacious pastures with rotational grazing, and each horse receives daily hands-on training and regular veterinary wellness exams. Young foals are introduced to grooming, clipping, and ground driving to promote confidence and a strong bond with handlers. Many of his horses develop the steady temperament and robust build suited to light farm work, carriage driving, therapy or amateur competition.

Clark’s farm approach combines time-honored draft horse traditions with attentive socialization, ensuring each animal matures in a calm, pasture-based environment. He maintains a balanced diet of high-quality hay and mineral supplements, and the stable’s barn features individual stalls that open onto the pasture.
