Richard Williams

Richard Williams breeds Percheron horses in Hayden, CO on rolling family-owned pastures in Northwest Colorado near Steamboat Springs. He has over fifteen years of experience, is a member of the Percheron Horse Association of America and a local draft horse club, and ensures each horse receives annual vet exams, dental care and temperament evaluations. Each foal is raised in open pastures and introduced to gentle, consistent handling from birth.

Rich grounds his program in traditional draft horse care and socialization with family members actively involved in daily routines. His horses are trained for light farm work and have appeared at county fairs and local demonstrations. The farm features well-maintained shelters and scheduled farrier visits to support hoof health.
