Prairie Fire

Prairie Fire Percheron horses in Marvel, CO, are based in Boulder County and the Front Range near Denver. Dave Harwood and Tracy Harwood have been breeding sturdy Percherons for more than ten years and hold membership in the Percheron Horse Association, with each foal undergoing routine health screenings.

The Harwoods combine hands-on care with respect for the breed’s heritage, and several of their horses trace back to champion bloodlines. Calving seasons are staggered to ensure each mare receives individual attention.
