Porch Swing Farms

Porch Swing Farms raises large black hogs in Bigelow, Arkansas, about 45 minutes northwest of Little Rock and 20 minutes from Conway in Perry County. Holly Payne and Aaron Baldwin launched the farm in 2021 after returning to Arkansas, drawn by a desire to revive the kind of deeply flavorful heritage pork that older generations remembered.

The farm is a registered member of the Large Black Hog Association, and the hogs are rotationally grazed across one-acre areas, with 10 to 15 animals per section at any given time. In addition to grazing, the pigs are supplemented with grain and enjoy foraging on acorns, pumpkins, and daikon radishes. The setup gives the animals space to root, wallow, and behave as pigs naturally do.
