Peter Schwartz

Peter Schwartz, Percheron horses, Seymour, Missouri, in Pulaski County and the Ozarks near Springfield, raises sturdy Percheron draft horses. He has been involved in Percheron breeding for several years and follows registry guidelines for conformation, soundness and temperament. His horses live on pasture with regular hoof care, balanced nutrition and daily handling from foaling onward to promote trust.

The farm practice emphasizes gentle training for farm work and light draft competitions, and horses are introduced to groundwork and harness early. All horses receive annual veterinary exams, routine health assessments and dental checks. Raised on family land that has supported agriculture for generations, foals are evaluated for structure and temperament and introduced to daily handling.
