Pete Langmeier

Pete Langmeier and Gail Langmeier, Percheron horses, Mount Hope, WI, in southwestern Wisconsin near Madison. With more than 15 years of breeding experience, they are members of the Percheron Horse Association and uphold strict standards for conformation and temperament. Every horse undergoes regular veterinary screenings, including evaluations of joint health and overall soundness.

Their horses are raised on pasture with daily turnout and are socialized with visitors and farm chores from a young age to ensure calm dispositions. The couple maintains a deep commitment to sustainable land stewardship, rotating pastures and providing natural forage supplemented with high-quality feed. Several of their horses have earned ribbons at regional draft horse shows, reflecting the consistency of their breeding program.

Their farm sits on rolling hills that have been in the family since 1985, offering horses ample space to stretch and develop muscle tone. They also provide regular farrier visits and grooming sessions to support hoof health and coat condition.
