Nicole Kiekhaefer

Nicole Kiekhaefer breeds Percherons on her own family-run farm in Greenleaf, WI, in Calumet County and the Fox Cities near Appleton. She has been raising draft horses for several years, participates in national breed registry programs, maintains detailed pedigree and performance records, and conducts pre-foaling mare care with thorough veterinary health checks for all foals.

Foals grow up on rotational pasture with daily handling to promote gentle temperaments and sound development. The herd includes bloodlines suited to farm work and draft competitions, reflecting a focus on balanced conformation, robust health and versatile performance. Mature Percherons often work in harness or under saddle, demonstrating the breed’s versatility.

Nicole keeps a small-scale operation to provide personalized attention to each horse and maintain strong relationships with local equestrian community members. Program updates and images of each foal’s growth are documented throughout the season.
